Jazmine - "Where east meets west..."
Very stylish Asian restaurant with a P.F. Chang's vibe. Owned by casino chefs from the El Dorado's Chinese restaurant who went independent in booming South Reno / Double Diamond. Chinese with some Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Very cool and very popular (opened 2007). Service can be an issue, but it is worth it for the unique Reno vibe and great food. About $20 per person total.

Sushi Moto - Not just strip mall sushi
The strip mall exterior of Sushi Moto may fool you, but inside is some of the most Japanese sushi and service you may find in Northern Nevada. With excellent fresh sushi, great service, and a magic button on the table to summon your server - this new Double Diamond restaurant is highly recommended. About $20 per person total or try all-you-can-eat sushi at lunch and dinner.

Great suburban brewhouse imported from our cousins in Sacramento. Freshly brewed beer, pub food, and just good times. For the moment - no slot machines and no smoking. Very popular hotspot for South Reno homes. South Virginia @ Mount Rose Highway - 775-853-7575
