Located at the busy Costco mall near Plumb & Kietzke
in Reno, Opa is a friendly Greek restaurant offering excellent lunch
and dinner items. With reasonable prices and most meals under
$10, Opa is a fun choice for Greek food. There are very few
Greek restaurants in Reno, and Opa is run by a long-time Reno
restaurant operator (the former owner of Pirate's Pizza).
The restaurant is very crowded / cozy-- in a 1200
square foot space with a few outdoor tables. You may want to
consider take-out, as it can be quite busy (due to the great food)
at lunch time. We enjoyed a combination platter that included
tasty lamb gyros, cheese pie, and Greek salad. All of the food
was of excellent quality and the service was very good. Many
family members visit the restaurant and the owner is the main cook.
We really enjoyed our visit to Opa! Greek restaurant in Reno Nevada.
Average meal cost was around $10 including tips.
